Advanced Solo
ADVANCED SOLO Group Information
- Open to all drivers with PCA Driver-Ed ADVANCED SOLO status, valid PCA membership, Porsche cars only
- ADVANCED SOLO Only – There will be no instruction at this event
- New drivers to the 48 Hours event must provide a letter or email from your chief track instructor with your application verifying ADVANCED SOLO status. This applies to licensed racers, not registered in the race, who have never participated in our ADVANCED SOLO event.
- 48 Hours at Sebring Chief Track Instructor has the final say on your status. By completing the application/registration you agree that if determined by our Chief Track Instructor you are not at an ADVANCED SOLO level, you may not be allowed to participate
- PCA/DE passing rules STRICTLY adhered to for the entire weekend including Test & Tune
- Helmet with a Snell rating of M2000 or SA2000 and newer required, no exceptions
- Vehicle must pass the at-track inspection, no exceptions
- ADVANCED SOLO at Sebring means that you have obtained the skills and experience to drive a high-speed track, without instruction in a high traffic environment. You should be at an “ADVANCED SOLO” level for at least one year participating in several events at that level, comfortable driving with other advanced level drivers in high performance or modified cars. In the past, there have been as many as 70 very experienced drivers on the track at this event.

- Registered PCA Racers NOT allowed to enter in any ADVANCED SOLO Group
- After 70 registrations have been received, you will be contacted and placed on a waiting list
Advanced Solo (Bonus DAY!):
February 4, 2010: Advanced Solo Daytime Test & Tune
Track Time: 4:00PM – 5:00PM
Cost:Complimentary with 48 Hours Advanced Solo Registration
February 4, 2010: Advanced Solo NightTime Test & Tune
Track Time: Approximately One hour (two 30 minute sessions)
Starting Time: 6:00PM (see schedule at www.48hoursatsebring.com)
Full Advanced Solo registration required: (seperate line on registration)
Prerequisite: Prior Advanced Solo Sebring Experience Only AND Lights
February 5-7, 2010: Advanced Solo Sessions
Track Time: Approximately four and one half hours (three 30 minute sessions/3 days)
